OMRDON SMA Antenna Lightning Protector (SPD, Surge Protector) is suitable for lightning protection of various RF transceiver systems, wireless transmitting/receiving equipment. Widely used in communication stations, radar stations, mobile communication base stations, GPS antennas, CDMA base stations, PHS (PAS) base stations, satellite communications, microwave stations and so on. It can prevent damage to antennas and transceiver equipment caused by overvoltage from feeder-induced lightning strikes, and is installed in the lightning protection sub-district LPZ0A-1 and subsequent sub-districts.
The product is encapsulated in a shielded case with a built-in high quality high-speed overvoltage protection device, which provides efficient protection and defense against lightning high-voltage pulses induced on the antenna feeder line.

Installation Notes:
1, in order to reliably prevent lightning strikes, can be in the antenna output and the input of the protected equipment are connected in series with an antenna feed lightning arrester the antenna feed lightning arrester is not divided into input and output, the interface can be matched.
2, the lightning protector on the lug welding as short as possible grounding wire (wire area of not less than 4mm) 2), the other end is reliably connected to the lightning protection system grounding bus, and the grounding resistance is not more than 4Ω.
3, the product has a waterproof function, but in the outdoor use of the antenna feeder should also pay attention to rain, do not let the rain soak into its internal corrosion damage.
4, this product does not require special maintenance. When the system works faulty, you can remove the lightning protector and then check, if the system returns to normal after restoring to the state before use, it means that the lightning protector has been damaged and must be replaced immediately.
